2025 CANADIAN SYNC AWARDS PERFORMERS ANNOUNCED!
We are thrilled to announce the performers for the 2025 Canadian Sync Awards - Sebastian Gaskin, Goldie Boutilier and Thunder Queens!
Sebastian Gaskin is a Toronto-based, Tataskweyak Cree Nation multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter and producer, and Juno award-winner.
Intentionally genre amorphous, Gaskin’s music lends itself to a bold intuition and gut instinct. At once, conjuring the timeless spirit of Bill Withers and the musical virtuosity of John Mayer, with the mischievous wordplay of Post Malone and Pro Era, and his debut album was recently released on the Indigenous-owned music company, Ishkōdé Records and Universal Music Canada.
Raised on the music of Tammy Wynette and Dolly Parton, Goldie Boutilier’s music is noted for its cinematic quality and exploration of tragic romance, glamour, and melancholia.
A revolving door of labels and aliases later, Goldie returned to her hometown roots and
re-established herself as an alt-country star, with a nod to 1950s and 1960s Americana. Her music contains references to her small-town upbringing on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, and her sincere experiences as a young ingenue in Hollywood.
Thunder Queens are a high-energy trio from London, Ontario, fusing punk, indie, and grunge into a sound that’s raw, rebellious, and undeniably their own. Over the past six years, they’ve honed their craft through explosive live shows and a commitment to pushing boundaries.
Whether delivering high-energy sets in packed venues or recording their next project, Thunder Queens stay true to their vision: making music that hits hard, speaks loud, and invites everyone to the party.
