The Guild of Music Supervisors, Canada (GMSC) and Canadian Music Week (CMW) are proud to reveal the winners of the 2023 Canadian Sync Awards. Cody Partridge of Pear Tree Music Supervision was the recipient of three awards.
The Guild of Music Supervisors, Canada (GMSC) and Canadian Music Week (CMW) are proud to reveal the nominees and performers for the 2023 Canadian Sync Awards! Cody Partridge of Pear Tree Music Supervision leads with six nominations followed by Natasha Duprey with five nominations.
The Canadian Sync Awards will take place on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto and include performances by Preston Pablo, Milk & Bone, and Adria Kain.

April 12, 2023 (Toronto) - The Guild of Music Supervisors, Canada (GMSC) and Canadian Music Week (CMW) have once again partnered to present the 2023 Canadian Sync Awards!
Celebrating music supervisor excellence and the sync. community across Canada, the ‘Sync Awards’ will take place on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at The Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm.

The Guild of Music Supervisors, Canada (GMSC) and Canadian Music Week (CMW) are proud to reveal the winners for the 2022 Canadian Sync Awards. Music supervisor Cody Partridge took home four awards.
Hosted by Tara Slone, the Canadian Sync Awards took place on Thursday, June 9, 2022 to a packed house at the El Mocambo and included exciting performances by Monowhales, Emanuel and Mauvey. The Canadian Sync Awards celebrate the craft of music supervision in filmed media in Canada with the presentation of 14 awards, as voted by the public and members of the Guild of Music Supervisors, Canada.
The nominees for the 2022 Canadian Sync Awards have been announced! Public voting is now open, and we encourage everyone to review the nominees and cast their vote in each of the 7 public categories.
The remaining 6 industry categories have been voted on by. the members of the Guild of Music Supervisors, Canada.
Honouring his legacy in the Sync community with “The Huey” for an emerging music supervisor.
The Guild of Music Supervisors Canada (GMSC) has created a new award, called “The Huey”, honouring legendary music supervisor, David Hayman, who passed away in May, 2020.
To be presented at the Canadian Sync Awards at El Mocambo on June 9th in Toronto, “The Huey” will be awarded to an aspiring music supervisor who has passion for the craft. The recipient must be a Canadian resident who shows initiative and interest in pursuing music supervision as a career, but has not yet gained experience in the field.
